Miami’s PRIMO Italian Food!??

It’s no surprise that I like to eat out in great restaurants!

The most exciting Italian food place in this town is upscale IlMulino in Miami’s Southpointe area. A staff so friendly and excited to share our experience that they have become like family to us!  Its easy to get comfortable in this uncomplicated light and airy Miami atmosphere. White linen tablecloths and Vogue prints adorning the crisp modern backdrop make it chic and elegant.

Antipasto arrives with compliments, and is easily a meal in itself. A wheel of Parmesan, cured meats, oysters and bruschetta that are irresistible.

I am always happy with my familiar Rucola salad to start, consisting simply of baby arugula, quality oil, lemon and fresh parmesan. Mila is always amused as I cannot seem to move beyond my usual Veal Pizzaiola or Branzino.

There is always excitement at the bar as an array of fabulous cocktail concoctions are being created. Trolleys of whole Salted Branzino pass by tables soon to be filleted, and guests are easily entertained by the dramatic display.

We have become very spoiled as our dinners become generously topped by a most decadent dessert compliments of our lovely hosts.

Sublime and tantalizing cuisine paired with an extensive wine selection.

Il Mulino doesn’t disappoint!
