Monday’s Motivation!
I always keep my weekends front of mind. We work so hard. I don’t know about you, but I like to have that little reminder of all the fantastic weekend fun I’ve just had to keep me really motivated and focused in the week. I truly love my job and all of the people I have come to know through it’s web. I think the really important balance in life is to embrace the things that we know have to do…better to enjoy and make them interesting, because at the end of the day we all have to do the stuff we don’t always love.
I also remind myself to always be kind and cherish every little pleasure and experience that comes my way. Indulge in the luxuries that make you happy. It might be as small as the espresso and cup you enjoy or a grander luxury.
Decide what luxuries you like to indulge in every day and embrace them without guilt.

Saturday am. Driving topless…feeling free and loving the heat. Heading to Design District Miami in search of some fabulous home accessories. I’m looking for some bold colours to liven things up!
Spending another afternoon in this great design community is always in order. These Nixon Alpaca throws from Jonathan Adler are so fantastic. The perfect pop of colour for any room! I’m leaning toward the orange.
Stopped by Laduree for my favourite macaron. These are the most exquisite indulgences..est elle divine!
Laduree has collaborated with an LA based rocker style retailer (hence the buildings graphics) in this quirky pop up store, but only until the end of this month. It’s worth the visit.
Never do I resist a stop at Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink….even if I’m not hungry. Their pizza is barnone, the best.
Sunday am. What a day…sun shining ocean irresistible. Time to relax for a bit.
Enroute to grab a cup of java. I spot an Alice + Olivia’s limited edition bike. I have got to get one of these!
Stuck in a neutral phase, I am on a quest for colour. My feet are saying comfort.
But then again..I always prefer a shoe with a beautiful heal. These are so spectacular. And this is undeniably the most comfortable shoe…as any woman will justify when she wants something!
This should help sway my decision of shoe choice more sensibly.

Now I’m feeling rejuvenated and ready for a busy week ahead!
